Barack Obama (Commander-in-Chief)

"I wanted to come down to Fort Bliss mainly to say thank you and to say welcome home. I’m going to make a speech to the nation tonight. It’s not going to be a victory lap. It’s not going to be self-congratulatory. There’s still a lot of work that we’ve got to do to make sure that Iraq is an effective partner with us. But the fact of the matter is that because of the extraordinary service that all of you have done, and so many people here at Fort Bliss have done, Iraq has an opportunity to create a better future for itself, and America is more secure."

- Statement to returning soldiers prior to his major address to the nation about pulling our 'combat' troops out of Iraq.

**I agree with President Obama 100% on this comment! Question is does Barack Obama believe and agree with what Barack Obama said?

He's been against the Iraq War since it began, did much to undermine it's success while in the Senate, and more or less called it a waste of time while he was running for President.

So, does Barack Obama truly believe the key phrase in Barack Obama's comment to the troops?: "America is more secure."

If Barack Obama believes what Barack Obama said, then Barack Obama has to believe the Iraq war was worth fighting! Because the goal of every American war is to defend the country and make "America more secure"...Barack Obama said this goal was attained.

Hmmmm? Do you think this is what Barack Obama really means? If he does, he should have done much more than mention President Bush in his address to the nation...If Barack Obama really believed what Barack Obama said, he should have had the decency to thank President Bush for his brave and honorable decision to make "America more secure."

Of course he doesn't have this kind of decency, and truth be told, Barack Obama doesn't believe a word of what Barack Obama said in his own quote...It's all ploy, all politics, all the time. In other words, it was just more of Barack Obama talking for the sake of hearing Barack Obama talk.**

Rod Blagojevich (ChiTown Democrat)

"I believe some of the greatest stories in history are some of the great comebacks. You think about Winston Churchill, I mean he spent years in the political wilderness...If Churchill can comeback from something like that, when I'm vindicated, I certainly don't write myself off."

**Sadly, I'm quite certain most Americans have no clue about Winston Churchill and his time in the 'wilderness'...That said, the 'Gov' has to be out of his mind to put himself in the same breath as Churchill.

Churchill may have spent a decade-or-so in the "political wilderness," but everyone in the know in British politics knew he was a man with rare political genius; among many of his genius qualities...Anyone who has seen Blago on TV has seen a complete joke of a human being, and a man who is a functional idiot at best.

What I want to know is what did the Chicago political machine see in this clown to think he'd end up any other way than he did? Incredibly, the many they propped all the way to the White House is hardly better.**

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (House Triumvirate)

"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque is being funded."

**What a genius this woman is! They compete for the title, but I'm of the opinion she wins it for 'Biggest Idiot of the Triumvirate From Hell' (Obama, Pelosi, Reid)...That said, if she wants to go on a witch hunt she should start with this "opposition" group first: 'The Victims and Families of 9/11.'

Show some real courage, Nancy! Go after those most directly affected by 9/11 for their "opposition" of the mosque.

I won't hold my breath on that one, so maybe she should start somewhere else...How about this for a suggestion: If she really wants to find a 'witch' on her 'hunt' she can simply look in the mirror.**

Eric Mar (San Fran Freako Board of Supervisors)

"Our legislation will encourage restaurants that offer unhealthy meals marketed toward children and youth to offer healthier food options with incentive items or toys."

- Statement on a proposal to ban toys in kids fast food meals.

**Yet somehow Liberals try to paint Conservatives as Nazis.

Even crazier, kiddies won't be able to enjoy a toy with their Happy Meal, but they will be able to enjoy the toys at the 'Folsom Street Fair'...A completely different kind of 'happy meal', but one the pervs in San Fran Sicko have no problem with children enjoying.

Forget Happy Meals, my question is why would any parent subject their children to the filth of this city, which calls itself 'The City,' but should rightfully be known as 'The Shitty'? Hell, forget kids, why do otherwise normal adults live in or visit this turd-bowl?**

Barack Obama (Mosque Builder-in-Chief)

"This is America. And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are...And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances."

- Obama's original comment about building a mosque at 'Ground Zero.'

"I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there. I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That's what our country is about. And I think it's very important, as difficult as some of these issues are, that we stay focused on who we are as a people and what our values are all about."

- Obama's attempt to cover his rear after his original statement...Not a very convincing or successful attempt.

**For some reason I knew it would be 'our most genius and glorious president ever' who would pull me out of my 'blogging funk.'

This is the man we elected to lead our country? This is the man the rest of the world watches as he sticks it to his own country?

"The decision to build this mosque so close to the site of Ground Zero is deeply troubling, as is the president's decision to endorse it. The American people certainly don't support it. We can never forget that terrible day, and the heroes who lost their lives - often in the hope that others might live. We honor their memory and their sacrifice, always." - John Boehner (House Minority Leader)

"President Obama should stop condescending to his fellow citizens, and should start listening to us. He thinks we’re traumatized by 9/11. We’re not. But we do remember 9/11, and we don’t think it honors the memory of that day to acquiesce in - or worse, to embrace - this mosque with those sponsors at that place." - Bill Kristol

"[Obama] has abandoned America at the place where America's heart was broken nine years ago, and where her true values were on display for all to see...Now this president declares that the victims of 9/11 and their families must bear another burden. We must stand silent at the last place in America where 9/11 is still remembered with reverence or risk being called religious bigots." - '9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America'

Obama's comments on this matter are sickening, very sad, and most incredible of all: PREDICTABLE, because he is a man who has shown so much disregard for his country and its history...Question is will the American people make Barack and his fellow Democrats pay for such disregard and utter stupidity? Don't assume it's a given they will. Get out and help throw every one of them out of office! Or don't.**

Pero's in a Blogging Funk

It happens from time to time, and after a week or so I'm usually rip-roaring and ready to start back up...I don't know when I'll be back full time, but check in every couple days.

Kate Kendell (Head of the National Center for Lesbian Rights)

"There is nothing about Walker as a judge to indicate that his sexual orientation, other than being an interesting factor, will in any way bias his view."

- Comment about Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, who ruled California's Prop. 8 (defining marriage between one man and one woman) is unconstitutional.

**"It seems curious to me." - Arnold Schwarzenegger (Squishy, More-Often-Than-Not-Liberal, California Governator)

YA THINK!?!?!?!?

Actually, there's nothing "curious" about this at all. It is the ultimate conflict of interest, and the judge should have recused himself from the case...Pouring salt on the wound: This judge was nominated by President Bush the Elder.

Reason #28,274 why we must push the Republican Party to supply legitimately Conservative presidential nominees.

One last court to hear this case (SCOTUS), and there's at least a 50/50 chance of a 5-4 Conservative judgement on the matter...Which also means there's a 50/50 chance for a Liberal judgement.**

Barack Obama (Mongrel-in-Chief)

"We are sort of a mongrel people. I mean we're all kinds of mixed up."

- Comment made on his visit to "The View" about black Americans.

**What in the world made Obama think this was a good thing to throw out on national TV? Was he channelling his inner-Nazi, spewing bizarre race theory, or was he doing an ode to Robert 'KKK' Byrd (Democrat)? [God rest his soul...I guess.]

I thought it was awful of Byrd to reference black Americans as
"race mongrels", but maybe I'm just overly sensitive...I never would have thought it to be polite, but if our 'most brilliant and well spoken president ever' and Sen. Robert 'Grand Cyclops' Byrd think "mongrel" is a proper term for black Americans maybe we should all use it.

The Obama handlers might want to keep the president away from silly TV shows, because he tends to say some stupid things when the teleprompter (TOTUS) isn't around to keep him from having to think. For those who've forgotten his trip to the "Jay Leno Show": "[My bowling skills are] like the Special Olympics or something."

Real genius this guy is...Bush may not have spoken well, but he surely didn't say stuff as ridiculous as our current Prez.**
