CONSERVATIVE QUOTE: "Barack Obama lectured loudly and carried a small stick. So far, Trump has blustered loudly and carried a sizable stick. But it would be better to follow Teddy Roosevelt's maxim to speak softly and carry a big stick - or, wiser yet, to keep quiet altogether and carry a club." - Victor Davis Hanson

Tirge ('Useful Idiot')
"My wife and I just got our updates from Kaiser telling us what our 2014 rates will be. Her monthly has been $168 this year, mine $150. We have a high deductible. We are generally healthy people who don't go to the doctor often. I barely ever go. The insurance is in case of a major catastrophe. Well, now, because of Obamacare, my wife's rate is going to $302 per month and mine is jumping to $284. I am canceling insurance for us and I am not paying any fucking penalty. What the hell kind of reform is this?"
- dailykos.com is one of the largest blogs on the Internet...It is far Left. Tirge is a frequent commenter at the Kos; a typical Libby turd.
What, did Liberals think they'd be spared from the pain of ObamaCare just because they were supporters of it? Did they think Obama would create a 'waiver' of sorts for those who supported him, and only hurt those who didn't?
"Oh, ok, if we qualify, we can get some government assistance. Great. So now I have to jump through another hoop to just chisel some of this off. And we don't qualify, anyway, so what's the point?"- Tirge
Wait a minute! If ol' Tirge "don't qualify" then he must be rich. Or as Obama puts it, he must be a"fat cat"...Sucker!
Here's a quote from someone who commented on Tirge's comment: "What did they expect? Weren't they paying attention? Or maybe it's like Animal House - but with Obama saying "you f***** up...you trusted us." - (name unknown)
"f***** up," indeed! As did the rest of the fools who voted for Obama and his merry band of SOB's...I'm not gonna lie, I hope every single American who voted for Obama and any other Democrats since 2008 get caught in the flack of the ObamaCare grenade, because they are ultimately the ones who have brought this on all of us.
Because THEY were the 'useful idiots' who put Obama, Reid and Pelosi in a position to create such havoc.
"Calling the Affordable Care Act 'ObamaCare' is like an omelet with no eggs."
Yeah it is!
It's also like PBJ with no B, or a BLT with out T. Or a Banana Split with no ice cream...It's even like a French Dip with no Dippy Frenchmen.
Exactly what Jesse is talking about no one quite knows; probably not even Jess.
Maybe he was trying to make a play on the old saying: "You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs."
Sadly, when it comes to ObamaCare the broken eggs are going to be the American people. Specifically, young Americans having to pay an inordinate burden paying for their elders.
Then again, maybe Jesse was just hungry and in the mood for breakfast food...Either way, he is the poster boy for Jay-Z songs.
"[T]here's nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners."
- Answer to a posting on Planned Parenthood's Facebook page. The question was: "Is promiscuity a bad thing?"
It's hard to believe anyone - especially a group which supposedly cares about women's health - can say there is "nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners." There are obvious issues with STD's. There are obvious issues with unwanted pregnancies. And there are not-as-obvious emotional and psychological issues for women who have "a big number of sexual partners."
Oh, before I forget, this Facebook page wasn't necessarily intended for consumption by 'women'...It was posted on their page 'FOR TEENS.'
So, according to Planned Parenthood, "[T]here's nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners" - FOR TEENS!
Makes you wonder what their angle is? Maybe this is it:
"It is understandable as to why Planned Parenthood would promote promiscuity as acceptable behavior to teens. A little more than one in four of their clients are teens, and 45% of abortions are repeat abortions." - Christine Rousselle
Ah, yes. I forgot the obvious - Follow the money, baby!
Senator Bernie Sanders (Independent Socialist Wanna-be)
"The only long-term solution to America's healthcare crisis is a single-payer national healthcare program."
Those who read The Right is Right, know I brought up 'Unintended Consequences' of ObamaCare...Sanders' comment is about the 'Intended Consequence' of ObamaCare.
The Left is going to use ObamaCare, and the failures which will ensue, as the vehicle to destroy the American health insurance system...It's important to note, these failures will be failures by the standards of most Americans, but successes in the eyes of the Left; who want to tear down what we have to create a Euro-style national health care system.
They want to do this because they believe the Euro-Socialist model is better; not because they are Marxist-Leninist-Stalinists-Maoists, etc., but because they prefer Europe's equality/non-competition model to America's capitalist/competition model...I don't think they are bad people for believing this, I just think they are wrong. Wrong because the Euro model hasn't proved to be better than ours. Wrong because I don't think Americans are as weak as Euros, needing to be coddled from cradle to grave.
But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe we are as pathetic as the Euros. Either way, we will find out as ObamaCare fulfills the Left's'Intended Consequence.'Hopefully, the 'Unintended Consequences' don't cause too much pain on the way to ObamaCare's failure/success - depending on who determines them. Hopefully our health care system isn't destroyed by the destruction of our health insurance system (I hope you understand the difference)...Either way, the American people are going to be left with an interesting choice when all is said and done: Continue on the American path, or take up the European one.
I could be wrong on this as well, but it seems to me far more Europeans (and most everyone else in the world) would rather live in America (flaws and all) than Americans would rather live in Europe (Utopian ideals and all).
Our kids and grand kids will be the ones who live through our choices...Good, bad or otherwise.
"Tragically, the federal government, with all their power, couldn't trade the 1 out for another 8 at the end. Then the President's true sentiment towards all of you would be much plainer." - Duane Patterson
1-800- 3 = F 1 = (No letter) 8 = U 2 = C 5 = K 9 = Y 6 = O
I think it's better this way, but add the 8 at the end in place of the 1 and you get a U.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY
April 20
1792 - France declared war on Austria, Prussia, and Sardinia, marking the start of the French Revolutionary Wars.
This began a 23-year period of Hell on the European continent...From the Revolution, to the Terror, to Napoleon's empire.
It's important to understand the Revolution didn't end with the founding of Napoleon’s reign, which is often taught in history classes...Napoleon was a son of the Revolution, and his rule was a continuation of it - even if he took it off the rails - or put it back on, depending on how you look at things.
It's also important to recognize the enormous difference between the American and French Revolutions...The American Revolution was about liberty, which created a great nation. The French Revolution was about equality, which created anarchy.
I hope you understand the difference between liberty and equality...It is not only what made these two revolutions different, but is also one of the biggest differences between Europe and the U.S. - as well as American Conservatives and Liberals.

MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENT
Sergeant Oscar G. Johnson
Rank and organization: Sergeant, U.S. Army, Company B, 363d Infantry, 91st Infantry Division. Place and date: Near Scarperia, Italy, 1618 September 1944. Entered service at: Foster City, Mich. Birth: Foster City, Mich. G.O. No.: 58, 19 July 1945.
Citation: (then Pfc.) He practically single-handed protected the left flank of his company's position in the offensive to break the German's gothic line. Company B was the extreme left assault unit of the corps. The advance was stopped by heavy fire from Monticelli Ridge, and the company took cover behind an embankment. Sgt. Johnson, a mortar gunner, having expended his ammunition, assumed the duties of a rifleman. As leader of a squad of 7 men he was ordered to establish a combat post 50 yards to the left of the company to cover its exposed flank. Repeated enemy counterattacks, supported by artillery, mortar, and machinegun fire from the high ground to his front, had by the afternoon of 16 September killed or wounded all his men. Collecting weapons and ammunition from his fallen comrades, in the face of hostile fire, he held his exposed position and inflicted heavy casualties upon the enemy, who several times came close enough to throw hand grenades. On the night of 1617 September, the enemy launched his heaviest attack on Company B, putting his greatest pressure against the lone defender of the left flank. In spite of mortar fire which crashed about him and machinegun bullets which whipped the crest of his shallow trench, Sgt. Johnson stood erect and repulsed the attack with grenades and small arms fire. He remained awake and on the alert throughout the night, frustrating all attempts at infiltration. On 17 September, 25 German soldiers surrendered to him. Two men, sent to reinforce him that afternoon, were caught in a devastating mortar and artillery barrage. With no thought of his own safety, Sgt. Johnson rushed to the shell hole where they lay half buried and seriously wounded, covered their position by his fire, and assisted a Medical Corpsman in rendering aid. That night he secured their removal to the rear and remained on watch until his company was relieved. Five companies of a German paratroop regiment had been repeatedly committed to the attack on Company B without success. Twenty dead Germans were found in front of his position. By his heroic stand and utter disregard for personal safety, Sgt. Johnson was in a large measure responsible for defeating the enemy's attempts to turn the exposed left flank.
